Under my leadership, the Estonian Tax and Customs Board embarked on an analysis to determine how artificial intelligence could be harnessed to revolutionize tax collection. The primary objective was to comprehend the organization's dataset and readiness for the adoption of this cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, we sought to ascertain whether the implementation of AI could lead to a more efficient tax collection system, addressing the paramount challenges within the organization. The model developed during the course of this project yielded exceptionally remarkable results and served as a pivotal input in shaping organization AI strategy.

The overarching goal of Omniva's e-receipt project extends beyond mere efficiency and convenience; it also strives to foster a more environmentally conscious approach and inspire a shift in buyer behavior towards sustainable practices. This visionary initiative earned Omniva the prestigious "Eco-Innovation 2016" award at the Tallinn Entrepreneurship Awards 2016. It also earned the Ruban d'Honneur recognition at the European Business Awards, making it a finalist in the Innovation category out of 33,000 companies.
The e-receipt project is a collaborative endeavor involving an international consortium comprising Omniva, Telia Eesti, Trinidad Consulting, ICT Demo Center, and Helesinine from Estonia, as well as Authente from Norway. It is generously funded through the Estonian-Norwegian cooperation program Green ICT, underscoring its commitment to environmental sustainability and technological advancement.
